To find what?

The Mars Pathfinder, an American robotic spacecraft that actually landed on Mars in 1997…

At this moment you are probably thinking…

Why would Nisandeh talk about a spacecraft?

Because that story can teach you why your business is not growing and how to create the content that brings you clients (stay with me…).

You see, few people know that the extraordinary 280 million dollars Mars Pathfinder mission almost failed to go to Mars, for one of the most humble reasons you could ever imagine…

It was almost the time for the launch, and suddenly…

There was no connection. No communications whatsoever.

At this moment, a woman named Cindy Healy, who was responsible for all communications started sweating…

She started panicking. The clock was ticking.

Millions of investment, years of work…. All ready to be dumped in the garbage.

But then something happened…

She remembered the words of her mentor:

“When something is not working, always check the cables”

Cindy started running all around, checking the back of every computer. She checked every line and every piece of equipment.

Finally she made her way over to a Cisco Router where, sure enough, a cable had come loose.

She jiggled that baby back in and they were back online.

The Mars Pathfinder went to Mars…

A humble cable almost stopped a 280 million dollars mission.

What does that have to do with you and your business?

You see, a business in order to work needs to have “cables” that take potential clients from one mental state to another

People need first to know you, then like you, and then trust you…

Then and only then they will be open to buy from you.

What are the cables of your business?

Content.

Content is the cables of your business…

Content takes people from not knowing you, to knowing you; from not liking you, to liking you; from not trusting you, to trusting you; from not buying, to buying.

The easiest way to find out why your business is not growing, why you seem to be working long hours and not getting paid properly to do so, is to check if you have the right content in place.

Always check the cables…

Simply ask yourself:

What content do I have that moves people from knowing me to liking me?

Do you give them a free report, a valuable video, an actionable checklist?

What content do you have to make them trust you so that they can buy from you?

Do you have a blog which builds your credibility and positions you as an expert?

If you don’t, then you are missing cables…

If something is missing, the time to fix it, is NOW.

Every moment you are letting pass allows clients that you could serve fall out of the system…

Take a moment to check the cables and create the content that is missing!
